Mrs. Shu-Yi Schulstad, the Director of GMS Education, Pty. Ltd. is a speaker of five languages: Mandarin, Taiwanese (a dialect also known as Hokkein), English, Japanese and French. Mrs. Schulstad has been working as a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and LOTE (Languages Other Than English) teacher at various institutes for 18 years, teaching learners of all ages and of different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
She has studied, worked and traveled in countries such as Taiwan, the U.K., Japan, France, Canada, Guam, New Zealand, Singapore and Australia. Her expertise in language learning and teaching, management of educational institutes, and her vision of the future trend of global education is the main driving force of the continuous growth of the GMS Education, Pty.
